What is the difference between an electric wheelchair and a power wheelchair?
They are the same thing. "Electric wheelchair," "power wheelchair," and "power chair" all describe a battery-powered wheelchair driven with a joystick instead of pushed by hand. You will see all three terms used interchangeably here and across the industry.

What is the lightest, most portable electric wheelchair you carry?

What is the difference between mid-wheel, front-wheel, and rear-wheel drive?
Mid-wheel drive turns in the tightest circle, which is helpful indoors. Front-wheel drive handles thresholds and uneven ground well. Rear-wheel drive tends to feel the most stable at higher speeds outdoors. We can help you decide based on where the chair will be used.
Are electric wheelchairs good for indoor use?
Yes. Compact and mid-wheel-drive models are designed to turn in tight spaces and fit through standard doorways. If the chair will be used mostly indoors, tell us and we will point you to the models with the smallest turning radius.
