Consumer Limited Lifetime and Seven Year Warranty

Golden, through its authorized distributor/service organization, warrants this chair to the original consumer only, against defects in material or workmanship as outlined below.

Lifetime Warranty

• Golden warrants, for the lifetime of the chair to the original consumer, to repair or replace (at Golden’s option) the lift mechanism, chair frame, and recline mechanism.
• Labor to replace these parts is subsidized on all models for three (3) years.
• Some models (Capri and Space Saver) have shorter labor coverage periods as specified in Golden’s full warranty document.

Golden is not responsible for costs or expenses related to examination of warranted parts, nor for transportation, handling, or packaging of parts or components.

Three-Year Parts Warranty (Electrical Components)

• Golden warrants the electrical parts of this chair against defects to the original consumer for three (3) years from the date of original purchase.
• Labor to replace electrical parts is subsidized for one (1) year on most models, with certain models (such as Capri, Monarch, and Monarch Plus) having shorter labor coverage as specified by Golden.
• Golden does not cover the cost of examination, transportation, handling, or packaging of warranted parts or components.

Limited Electrical Parts Warranty – Years 4 Through 7

• From the beginning of year 4 through the end of year 7 after the original purchase date, Golden offers prorated coverage on electrical parts as follows:Year 4: 35% discount off suggested retail priceYear 5: 25% discount off suggested retail priceYear 6: 15% discount off suggested retail priceYear 7: 5% discount off suggested retail price
• Certain models (Capri, Monarch, Monarch Plus, and Space Saver) are excluded from this extended prorated electrical parts warranty.

Golden is not responsible for costs related to examination and/or service of any warranted part, nor for transportation, handling, or packaging of chairs, parts, or components.

Terms Applicable to All Warranties

• Golden will, at its option, repair and/or replace defective parts and/or components, provided:The parts have not been subjected to misuse, abuse, or improper service by the consumer.The parts have not been damaged in transit or handling.The product has not been altered or repaired by unauthorized representatives.
• This warranty does not include costs for unnecessary service calls (for example, in‑home calls solely to educate the consumer about product operation or to identify unsatisfactory power connections).

Golden notes that exceeding the specified weight capacity of a chair will void the warranty. Please refer to the published weight capacity for this model (up to 400 lbs.) and to any Golden weight-capacity charts provided at the place of purchase for additional guidance.

If the product does not conform to this warranty while it is in effect, Golden will correct the defect in accordance with its Consumer Limited Lifetime and Seven Year Warranty.

The Limited Lifetime and Seven Year Warranty described above is the sole and entire warranty applicable to this product and is in lieu of all other warranties of any nature whatsoever, whether express, implied, or arising by operation of law, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

This warranty does not cover or provide for reimbursement or payment of incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply in all cases.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The in‑home service portion of this warranty is valid in all 50 U.S. states, the Canadian provinces, and Puerto Rico.
