The Drive Delta Ultra-Light 1000 (15033) is a full-electric homecare hospital bed with a 450 lb maximum weight capacity, including the occupant. Official Drive specs list a 169 lb bed weight. The bed is not 450 lb.
This Drive Delta hospital bed uses electric motors for head, foot, and height. Drive lists a 36 by 80 inch sleep surface and a 36 by 88 inch overall size. With casters the deck runs 15.5 to 21.5 inches. Without casters it is 12.75 to 18.75 inches. Head raise is about 70 degrees. Foot raise is about 52 degrees. A 9-volt battery in the pendant can lower the head and foot about nine times if power fails.
This listing includes package SKUs with half rails, full rails, a 5-zone mattress, Gravity 7, or a Dynamic mattress. The frame can use Drive or many other manufacturers’ bed ends. It is not a 42 inch bariatric 15300LW and it is not a 7 inch Prime low bed. An 80-to-84 inch extension kit is sold separately. A caregiver should confirm rail and mattress pairing for entrapment safety.
The Drive Delta 15033 is designed for home use when you want a standard 36 inch full-electric bed that comes apart for delivery. Choose the 15300LW if you need a 42 inch 600 lb working load. Choose a Prime P503 if you need a 7.8 inch low height.
