Consumer Limited Lifetime & Seven-Year Warranty – Golden Titan PR-448

Golden Technologies, through its authorized distributor/service organization, warrants the Titan PR-448 lift chair to the original consumer against defects in materials or workmanship under the terms summarized below.

Lifetime Warranty – Lift Mechanism, Chair Frame & Recline Mechanism

• Golden warrants, for the lifetime of the chair to the original consumer, to repair or replace at its option the lift mechanism, chair frame, and recline mechanism.
• Labor to replace these parts is subsidized for three (3) years from the date of original consumer purchase.
• Golden is not responsible or obligated to pay for any cost or expense for examination of warranted parts, nor for transportation, handling, or packaging of parts or components.

Three-Year Parts Warranty – Electrical Components

• Golden warrants the electrical parts of this chair to the original consumer for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase.
• Labor to replace electrical parts is subsidized for one (1) year from the date of original purchase (shorter electrical warranties noted in the policy apply only to specific other models such as Monarch, Capri, and Space Saver).
• Golden is not responsible or obligated to pay for any costs or expenses for examination, transportation, handling, or packaging of warranted parts or components.

Limited Warranty – Years 4 Through 7 (Prorated Electrical Parts)
From the expiration of the full three-year electrical parts warranty through the seventh year after the original purchase date, Golden provides prorated coverage on electrical parts as follows:

• Year 4: 35% discount off suggested retail price
• Year 5: 25% discount off suggested retail price
• Year 6: 15% discount off suggested retail price
• Year 7: 5% discount off suggested retail price

For example, a part with a suggested retail price of $100.00 that requires replacement in year 4 would cost $65.00. Golden is not responsible or obligated to pay for any costs or expenses for examination and/or service of any warranted part, or for transportation, handling, and packaging of the chair and/or parts or components. (Capri, Monarch, Monarch Plus, and Space Saver models are excluded from this prorated portion of the warranty.)

Weight Capacity & General Notes
Golden publishes a general weight capacity chart for various model families (e.g., Jr. Petite & Small Models 300 lbs, Medium/Large/Tall Models 375 lbs, Dual Motor Wide Models 500 lbs, etc.). The Titan PR-448 specifically has a stated weight capacity of up to 400 lbs, as shown in the product specifications. Exceeding the weight capacity of the chair will void the warranty.

Terms Applicable to All Warranties

• Golden will, at its option, repair and/or replace defective parts or components provided that the warranty parts have not been subjected to misuse, abuse, or improper service by the consumer, have not been damaged in transit or handling, and have not been altered or repaired by unauthorized representatives.
• This warranty does not include costs for unnecessary service calls, such as in-home service calls solely for the purpose of educating the consumer about the product or identifying an unsatisfactory power connection.
• In the event that the product does not conform to this warranty at any time while it is in effect, Golden will correct the defect in accordance with the Consumer Limited Lifetime and Seven-Year Warranty.
• The Limited Lifetime and Seven-Year Warranty set forth above is the sole and entire warranty pertaining to the product and is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties of any nature whatsoever, whether express, implied, or arising by operation of law, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• This warranty does not cover or provide for the reimbursement or payment of incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply in all cases.
• This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
• The in-home service portion of this warranty is valid in all 50 U.S. states, the Canadian provinces, and Puerto Rico.
