Consumer Limited Lifetime & Seven-Year Warranty – Golden Technologies Cloud+ PR-525
Golden Technologies, through its authorized distributor/service organization, warrants the Cloud+ PR-525 lift chair to the original consumer against defects in materials or workmanship under the terms below.
Lifetime Warranty – Lift Mechanism, Chair Frame & Recline Mechanism
- For the lifetime of the chair to the original purchaser, Golden will repair or replace, at its option, the lift mechanism, chair frame, and recline mechanism.
- Labor to replace these structural parts is subsidized for three (3) years from the date of original consumer purchase.
- Examination of warranted parts and all transportation, handling, and packaging costs are not covered.
Three-Year Electrical Parts Warranty
- Golden warrants the electrical parts of this chair to the original consumer for three (3) years from the date of original purchase.
- Labor to replace electrical parts is subsidized for one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
- Golden is not responsible for the cost of examining warranted parts or for transportation, handling, or packaging of parts or components.
Limited Electrical Parts Warranty – Years 4 Through 7 (Prorated)
After the initial three-year electrical parts warranty expires, Golden provides prorated coverage on electrical parts through year seven:
- Year 4: 35% discount off suggested retail price
- Year 5: 25% discount
- Year 6: 15% discount
- Year 7: 5% discount
For example, a part with a suggested retail price of $100.00 would cost $65.00 in year 4 under this prorated warranty. Examination, service, transportation, handling, and packaging costs remain the responsibility of the consumer.
Warranty Terms & Exclusions
- Golden will, at its option, repair and/or replace defective parts or components provided they have not been subjected to misuse, abuse, improper service, damage in transit or handling, or alteration/repair by unauthorized representatives.
- The warranty does not cover costs for unnecessary service calls, such as in-home visits solely to educate the consumer about product operation or to identify an unsatisfactory power connection.
- Exceeding the published weight capacity of the chair will void the warranty.
- Golden is not liable for incidental or consequential damages or for any other damage or loss not specifically covered by this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply in all cases.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
- The in-home service portion of this warranty is valid in all 50 U.S. states, the Canadian provinces, and Puerto Rico.
The Limited Lifetime and Seven-Year Warranty described above is the sole and entire warranty applicable to this product and is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties of any nature whatsoever, whether express, implied, or arising by operation of law, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
