A note about slings: For hygiene and a proper fit, the sling for a patient lift is purchased separately and is not included with the lift rental. Slings come in different styles and sizes, so tell us the person's weight and needs and we'll help you choose the right one when you book.
Which lift is right for you?
It comes down to the person's weight, how much they can help with the transfer, and how much lifting the caregiver can do. A manual Hoyer lift is a dependable, budget-friendly full-body lift that works without power — a good fit when a caregiver can operate the hand pump. An electric patient lift raises and lowers at the push of a button, which is easier on the caregiver and helpful for heavier transfers or frequent use. A freestanding trapeze bar is different: it isn't a lift, but an overhead handbar that helps a person who can still use their arms reposition themselves in bed and move toward a chair. Do I need to buy a sling, or is it included?
For hygiene and a proper fit, the sling is purchased separately and is not included with the lift rental. Slings come in different styles and sizes based on the person's weight and needs, so we'll help you choose the right one when you book. The freestanding trapeze does not use a sling.

Do you deliver, set it up, and show us how to use it?
Yes. Delivery, setup, and pickup are included in the $120 fee for Salt Lake County. We set the lift up in your home, help you choose the right sling, and walk the caregiver through using it safely before we leave.
How long can I rent a patient lift?
As long as you need. Most families rent by the week or month and can extend by calling before the rental expires, whether it's a short recovery or longer-term care at home.
